Multidisciplinary creative duo samuele and rosanna of aRks studio present ‘coral’ — their first ever 3D printed bikini collection. focusing primarily on 3D technology as well as comfort, the designers’ coral collection is ergonomic, ecological and tailor-made. every item of clothing is designed and made on the body making each piece unique.
aRks coral collection is made of pla (polylactic acid) and pla flex; a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. the minimal thickness offers the perfect wearability, adaptability and comfort. additionally, the cotton inserts make the 3D printed organic shapes available to wear like normal underwear.
Geometric and organic wefts make the structures of the coral bikini series.
The coral collection is made of polylactic acid, one of the most common materials for 3D printing.
The collection also includes a series of 3D printed accessories such as bracelets and necklaces.
The minimal thickness of the bikini offers the perfect wearability, adaptability and comfort.
The bikini can also be used as normal undergarments.
Every item of clothing is designed and made on the body making each piece unique, the creative duo focuses primarily on 3D printed technology.
